KNOXVILLE, Tn- The Royals played host to Maranatha Baptist on 3/24 where they swept the Saber Cats in a double header; winning 18-5 and 16-7.
Nathaniel Barnett had 2 hits on the series, including a grand slam. Pierce Durham also had 4 hits on the series, as the Royals had plenty of offense to go around. Luke Vest and Lucas Chausse had 3 stolen bases each on the series, while Will Varner added 2 of his own.
Levi Keltz pitched a 7 inning complete game, amassing 8 strikeouts. Trevor Lawerence, Gavin Miles, and Zac Cortez each had 3 strikeouts as well.
