Knoxville, TN- The Royals Men's Basketball team has kicked off their season with an impressive 3-0 record, showcasing dominance on both ends of the court.
In their October 29 season opener against Welch, the Royals delivered a staggering 123-56 victory. Tyler Moore led with 25 points and 7 rebounds, while Dallas Carbaugh pulled down 12 rebounds. This offensive showcase highlighted the Royals' efficient shooting, hitting 57.5% from the field.
The following night, Johnson faced Campbellsville University Harrodsburg, coming away with a 94-85 win. Toris Woods was key, scoring 23 points with help from Carbaugh's 18 points and 5 rebounds. A balanced offensive effort helped the Royals maintain a lead despite Campbellsville's late-game push.
On November 3, the Royals kept rolling, defeating Washington Adventist 94-61. Woods starred again with 27 points, and Isaiah Poore contributed 7 points and 7 rebounds, while Ben Rice and Tyler Moore each added valuable boards and assists.
