Men's Golf Finishes 5th; Dean Knight Takes 2nd Overall

MORRISTOWN, TN- The Johnson Men's Golf Team placed 5th out of 9 teams in this week's Walter's State Fall Classic, with a standout performance from Dean Knight, who finished second overall in the tournament. Knight posted consistent rounds of 73 on both days, finishing the event at +2.

In Round 1, Dean Knight led the team with his impressive 73, while Nathan Pierce followed with a 79. Carlos Tanamachi shot an 83, Braden Gibson an 88, and Noah Mulpas an 89. The team stayed competitive in Round 2, with Pierce carding an 80 and Mulpas improving to an 83. Gibson and Tanamachi recorded scores of 85 and 86, respectively.

The team looks to build on this strong performance in their next event, the St. Andrews Fall Classic on October 13-15.
