The Royals were defeated by the Bruins 68-57 on Tuesday in a valiant but ultimately inconsequential effort.
The Royals looked great on this night, but a brutal 3rd quarter ended up dashing their hopes of winning. They were within 2 points at the half, but in a third quarter where the team missed 9 layups, the Royals sunk into a hole in which they could not crawl out of.
The Bruins on the other hand were absolutely lights out from 3, with their starting lineup shooting just under 50%, and 45% as a team. Incredibly, they only shot 33% from the field, meaning they shot just over 21% from 2-point range.
Tori Teesateskie led the way for the Royals with 19 points, a game high for both teams, and Tamrah Konieczka led the Bruins with 17 points.
The Royals look to bounce back when they take on Toccoa Falls on Saturday.
