KNOXVILLE, Tn- The Royals hosted AAC opponent Bryan on 10/19, where they tied 3-3.
Amy Johnson scored the Royals first goal in the early stages of the second half to tie the game at 1-1, before the Lions would respond with a pair of goals. Sarah Roberts scored a goal in the 80th minute to draw within 1, and then Nicole Mingey scored on an assist from Macy Leadbetter in the 90th minute to tie the match at 3-3. It was an impressive response as the Royals had been outshot on the day, 31-12.
Courtney Daniels and Kaitlyn Pope split time in goal, registering 5 saves each.
The Royals look to push for a win in their next match on 10/22, when they host AAC opponent Montreat.
