KNOXVILLE, Tn- The Royals fell to conference opponent Bluefield University last night in 5 sets, dropping their record to 5-5 overall and 1-2 in conference play.
The Royals looked to be on the brink of losing in straight sets when they battled back from down 2 sets to nothing to win the next 2 sets. Jensen Davis led the comeback effort by adding 16 kills while Emma Hannaford added 7 of her own.
Johnson looks to bounce back on 9/17 when they take on another AAC opponent in Columbia College.
