Knoxville, TN– Johnson University cruised to a 3-0 victory over Columbia College in an AAC matchup, winning 25-14, 25-19, and 25-20. The Royals' efficient attack and strong defense powered them to their 12th win of the season, improving to 3-1 in conference play.
Abigail Brown led Johnson with 10 kills, while Luci Morris added 7 kills and a .353 hitting percentage. Ramiyah Thompson contributed 6 kills and a team-high 5 blocks. Johnson's defense, led by Marissa McMahon with 16 digs, held Columbia to a negative hitting percentage.
The Royals now sit at 12-2 overall as they continue their push in AAC competition Saturday at home against the CIU Rams.
