Knoxville, TN- The Royals Women's Basketball team started their season with a commanding 2-0 record, securing wins over Spartanburg Methodist and Washington Adventist.
On November 2, Johnson defeated Spartanburg Methodist 70-50. Hannah Jones led with 20 points and 9 rebounds, and Emily Wilson contributed 14 points, including four three-pointers. Johnson's strong defense and rebounding held Spartanburg to 23.9% shooting, dominating the third quarter 20-9.
The following day, the Royals crushed Washington Adventist 97-61. Wilson again starred with 20 points, supported by Jones' 15 points and 9 rebounds. Johnson's shooting accuracy (50% overall, 40% from three) fueled their lead, never letting Washington gain momentum.
