Knoxville, T.N. - The Johnson University men's soccer team finds themselves voted to finish last in their conference this year as they transition from NCCAA to NAIA as a part of the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC).
This poll was voted upon by the head men's soccer coaches of the AAC.
The Royals finished their last season with an overall record of 4-8 and a 1-3 in conference record.
When asked about the preseason poll, Coach Proctor had this to say, "We are brand new to the conference, and have to earn the right to be ranked higher. I am looking forward to the opportunity to do that."
Reinhardt was voted to take the conference title, receiving 178 voting points, including 9 first place votes. Milligan was predicted to finish second, receiving 170 voting points, including 4 first place votes.
The Royals will take the field once again against Alice Lloyd on Sept. 6.
